3 Walker Grant Middle School students face drug charges
A Frederick County middle school saw students busted on two occasions this week for drug possession. Three Walker Grant Middle school students have been charged in two marijuana transactions that occurred in a classroom.
The three students, from Walker Grant Middle School, are all 13-years-old. ABC7’s Kris Van Cleave reports that the three students have been suspended pending an investigation. A 13-year-old girl was busted with marijuana she allegedly bought from a boy of the same age during class. She paid less than $10, but got a whole lot of trouble for free.
Police jailed a third 8th grader, already on probation, for selling the same bag of dope to the boy a few weeks earlier.
This follows an incident on Monday at the same school when four boys, ages 13 to 15, were busted for smoking marijuana in a boy's bathroom. In that incident, charges of possession on school grounds is pending against the students.
The school did not send a letter home to parents, so many found out from the news about those incidents, reports Van Cleave.
