Angel Roa Alexandria cop arrested
April 21, 2011 - 03:07 pm
Authorities served an arrest warrant Thursday on an Alexandria police officer accused of fraudulently selling vehicles.
The officer, Angel Roa, a four-year veteran, was charged with obtaining money under false pretenses.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s office is investigating.
"Officer Roa is entitled to due process, however, I want to assure residents that the Alexandria Police does not tolerate criminal or other inappropriate behavior of any kind from its employees," said Chief Earl Cook.
Roa has been placed on unpaid administrative leave pending the outcome of the case.
