Clarence Marcel Baldwin, Jr. arrested in connection with Vienna car thefts

A Greenbelt man was arrested early Wednesday morning in connection with a string of burglaries from cars in Vienna, police say.
Vienna Police say they arrested 23-year-old Clarence Marcel Baldwin, Jr. and charged him with four counts of vehicle tampering, two counts of grand larceny and one count of petit larceny.
Police say that officers came across the suspect in the area of the previous incidents, which took place in the 200 block of Tapawingo Road SE, the 200 block of Moore Avenue SE and the 100 block of Dogwood Drive SW.
The suspect briefly fled, but a police helicopter and K-9 units tracked him down.
Baldwin is being held without bond
