April 27, 2011 - 06:04 am
WASHINGTON (AP) - Military officials will present a piece of stone from the damaged west faecade of the Pentagon to the FBI's Washington field office in recognition of the bureau's response to the Sept. 11 attacks.
The 800-pound piece of limestone will be presented Wednesday afternoon at a ceremony in Washington.
The military has already presented a similar stone to the Arlington County Fire Department for its response to the 9/11 attacks. Another stone will be presented to the New York City fire department next month.
