Nats beat Mets 4-3

The Washington Nationals defeated the Mets Thursday night 4-3, ending a three game losing streak. Shortstop Ian Desmond hit his third home run of the season and also tripled in his first game back from paternity leave.
Livan Hernandez picked up his third win of the season (3-2) and Drew Storen pitched a scoreless 9th inning to earn his fourth save in as many chances. Washington will open a 4-game series with the defending World Series Champion San Francisco Giants Friday at Nationals Park.
