ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Gov. Martin O'Malley has made some personnel announcements in his administration.
O'Malley announced Thursday during a Cabinet meeting that Robert Summers will continue working as the state's secretary of the environment. Summers had been serving in an acting capacity.
O'Malley says Bryan Sivak will be the administration's first chief innovation officer. Sivak served as the chief technology officer for former Washington Mayor Adrian Fenty. O'Malley says Sivak will focus on tracking health care costs.
The governor also announced that Cassie Motz, who has served as an attorney for the administration, will be deputy chief of staff.
