In its final weeks of taping, President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama will tape an episode with Oprah on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" on April 27, the Los Angeles Times reports.
The show will air May 2, according to Don Halcombe, a publicist for the show. The final original episode of Winfrey’s nationally syndicated show is scheduled to air May 25.
Winfrey endorsed Obama for president in 2008, her first public backing of a candidate, according to the Los Angeles Times.
She announced live on her show in November 2009 that she would end its run after 25 years, according to the Charlotte Observer. Since then, she has launched the Oprah Winfrey Network on cable.
