Two infants checked for injuries after D.C. fire

Authorities evaluated two infants for possible smoke inhalation after a kitchen fire in SE D.C.
The infants were checked at the scene of the fire and weren't taken to a local hospital for further treatment.
The fire, which firefighters extinguished, was at a residence in the 4300 block of Barnaby Road SE.
