5 Anne Arundel schools closed due to power outage

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Authorities are closing some Anne Arundel County schools due to power outages caused by downed power lines.
Melvin Edwards, a spokesman for the county school district, says five schools will be closed Wednesday. They include: Chesapeake High School, Chesapeake Bay Middle School, Folger McKinsey Elementary School, Bodkin Elementary School and Lake Shore Elementary School.
The schools are expected to re-open on Thursday.
