6-year-old rescued from pool

Anne Arundel County Fire officials say a 6-year-old boy nearly drowned in a pool in Lake Shore, Md., Monday.
It happened around 2 p.m. in private pool in the 1500 block of Palm Court. Fire Officials say the boy fell in the pool and was rescued by family members, who performed CPR on the boy before emergency medical personnel arrived.
Fire officials say the boy was revived and was conscious and breathing when medics arrived. He has been transported to the pediatric unit at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
