The last thing Pugh remembers is rushing into her hallway with her three cats. Rescuers found her underneath a fallen wall.

She was fine, but her house was in ruins. Two of her cats survived. But a third, Cadie, had been missing for three weeks.

Then, when a TV news crew was shooting Pugh’s story, Cadie suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

Dirty and frightened, Cadie had survived in a tornado-ravaged area without food and water for nearly a month.

“I wish she could talk, She could tell me where she's been,” Pugh said.
