Alexandria Police hunt for wallet thief

The Alexandria Police Department is hunting for a man who is allegedly stealing and using credit cards in multiple D.C. area counties.
Police say that the thefts began in November 2009. The suspect allegedly takes wallets from victims as they shop, then immediately uses their credit cards at retail stores and restaurants. He may have an accomplice who distracts the victim.
Thefts have taken place in Alexandria, Loudoun County, Fairfax County, Montgomery County and Charles County.
