Amtrak ridership between Va., D.C. growing

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Amtrak says ridership between two Virginia cities and Washington, D.C. is growing.
Amtrak said Tuesday that 16,810 passengers used the service between Lynchburg and the nation's capital in April, up 40.4 percent from April 2010.
Ridership between Newport News and Washington increased by 25 percent to 53,900 passengers.
