An investigation is underway after a shooting on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway that left two people injured.
U.S. Park Police say two men were shot in a car early Thursday morning near the Route 410 exit just before the Beltway. Both victims have been taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The victims’ conditions are unknown.
The highway remained closed for hours, but Park Police reopened the road at about 8:30 a.m. So far in the investigation, a vehicle has been towed from the scene, but police are still there collecting evidence.

Police do not have any suspects or a motive in the shooting. They have issued a lookout for a white 4-door Acura that was seen heading north on I-295 after the shooting.
