Child critically injured in D.C. car crash

A child was struck by a car on 13th and Irving Streets in Northwest D.C. Thursday evening.

A source tells WTOP the boy was ten years old. He was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.

D.C. Police say the boy was hit around 8 p.m. and the driver remained on the scene.
