Child struck by car in SE

A car struck a child in Southeast D.C. Friday afternoon, fire officials say.
The driver struck the child around 3:30 p.m. in the 3600 block of Alabama Avenue Southeast. The child has been taken to a hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. Fire officials said this may be a hit-and-run.
