Chili's restaurant robbed in Rockville

Montgomery County police are investigating an armed robbery at a Chili’s restaurant in Rockville.
Shortly after 12 a.m. Friday, two armed suspects entered the restaurant, located at 11428 Rockville Pike, after closing time and demanded money from employees. The suspects, who were both armed and wearing masks, got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police say an employee was physically assaulted during the robbery. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was treated and released.
The suspects are described as black men.
Detectives from the Montgomery County’s Major Crime Robbery unit are investigating.
