Construction accident at U of Md.

A construction worker was injured Friday morning while working on the University of Maryland campus in College Park.
The worker was an adult male working at a below grade construction project at Stadium Drive and Regents Drive. He sustained a head injury when an object fell from above striking him in the head.
Fire and EMS units responded and tended to the injured man and paramedics are transporting him to a trauma center with what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
Fire and EMS units operated at the scene for about 15 minutes.
