D.C. budget: Mayor Vincent Gray to hold briefing

WASHINGTON (AP) - District of Columbia Mayor Vincent Gray will hold another town hall-style budget briefing this week with district residents.

Monday's meeting at Brightwood Elementary School in Ward 4 is the second of a series of meetings the mayor has planned for each ward of the district.

Gray says he wants to educate residents about his proposed budget and receive feedback.

Gray's $9.6 billion budget for fiscal year 2012 includes a mix of spending cuts and tax hikes.
