D.C. Department of Health hosts baby shower

WASHINGTON (AP) - The District of Columbia Department of Health is throwing a baby shower in honor of 250 new and expectant mothers.
Friday's event for at-risk mothers is being held at Howard University Hospital.
New mothers and mothers-to-be can win prizes, such as a crib or a stroller.
The event is also a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the district's Healthy Start program.
