May 19, 2011 - 09:00 pm
WASHINGTON (AP) - District of Columbia police are reporting an arrest in a fatal stabbing from earlier this week.
Police say 30-year-old Damien Pannell was arrested Wednesday and has been charged with second-degree murder.
Pannell, who police say has no fixed address, is accused in the Tuesday death of 46-year-old Glenn M. Bailey. Bailey was found unresponsive and suffering from stab wounds Tuesday afternoon in the 600 block of Edgewood Street, NE. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Police didn't immediately reveal a motive, and it wasn't clear Thursday morning if Pannell had a lawyer.
