WASHINGTON (AP) - Washington's pools are opening for the summer.
The Department of Parks and Recreation says the city's 17 outdoor pools, five children's pools and nine spray parks will be open starting Saturday.
The facilities will be open from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday and Memorial Day on Monday. The pools will be open on weekends only until school lets out for the summer. After that, the pools will be open six days a week.
