Emergency roadwork causing major Beltway delays

Emergency road work on the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway is causing major delays Sunday afternoon.

The work zone is at the Annapolis Road exit in Lanham. One report says that traffic is backed up nearly to the I-95 junction in College Park.
