Firefighter injured in Stafford blaze

A firefighter was injured Thursday while fighting a fire in Stafford County.
The injured firefighter was taken to a local hospital and there were no other injuries reported.
Firefighters responded to the house, at 199 Quarry Road in the Widewater area of Stafford County, at about 10:25 a.m. The fire was brought under control in about an hour and 15 minutes.
The residents weren’t home at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
