Five D.C. school libraries to get makeovers with Target grants

On Oprah Monday it was announced that Target and Heart of America are renovating hundreds of school libraries across the country.
Five lucky D.C. schools got the news that their libraries are getting a much needed makeover.
If principal Michelle Edwards knows anything, it's that she loves her kids, and she loves her books.
So when she got word that the Orr Elementary School library was being considered for a quarter-million dollar makeover -- and that reps from Target were coming by to interview her -- she was ready.
Compared to the old library, the new library at Orr will be four times as big and contain four times as many books.
