Gbassy Koroma charged with killing father

A man is dead and his son behind bars after a domestic dispute turned deadly in Fairfax County.
Police arrested 18-year-old Gbassy Koroma, of Chantilly, and charged him with killing his father, Francis Koroma, 40.
Police were called to their residence, in the 5100 block of Woodmere Drive, at about 11 p.m. Friday night. Authorities found Francis Koroma suffering from stabbing wounds to his upper body. He was taken to a local hospital and died around 4 a.m. Saturday morning.
Police are charging Gbassy Koroma with murder, saying it’s a domestic related homicide.
