Halladay, Ibanez dominate Nats

The Washington Nationals dropped their third straight game on Wednesday, losing 7 to 3 to the Phillies. Philadelphia ace Roy Halladay (5-1) improved his career record against Washington to 10-1, striking out 10 while allowing two runs over seven innings. Meanwhile, Washington starter John Lannan (2-4) was chased out of the game early, allowing six earned runs on seven hits in two innings of work.
Phillies outfielder Raul Ibanez continued his hot hitting against the Nats, hitting his 2nd home run of the 3-game series and driving in three.
The Nationals are back on the field tomorrow to start a three game series in Florida against the Marlins.
