Kevin Alfred Mbayo stabbed to death in Germantown; suspect in custody

A man has died after being stabbed inside a townhouse in Germantown. A suspect is in custody.
Police say 22-year-old Kevin Alfred Mbayo was stabbed in the torso about 11:12 p.m. Tuesday in the 13000 block of Country Ridge Drive. He was the taken to Suburban Hospital where he later died.
Police say the suspect, James E. Biddinger, 27 years old, of the 13000 block of Country Ridge Drive, fled the scene to a nearby shopping center when he called police. He was taken into custody at the shopping center without incident and charged with first-degree murder,
Police say the suspect is an aquaintance of the victim.
The cause of the incident is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 240.773.5070.
