Lawrence Eric Lucchetti, Beville Middle School teacher, arrested
A teacher at Beville Middle School in Woodbridge was arrested for allegedly touching a female student inappropriately.
Police arrested Lawrence Eric Lucchetti, 33, of Alexandria and charged him with taking indecent liberties by a custodian and aggravated sexual battery.
Police went to the school on May 6 to investigate allegations that Lucchetti inappropriately touched a 12-year-old student at the school. He was arrested without incident.
Lucchetti has worked at the school since 2002. He started as a social studies teacher but moved into the gifted program a few years ago.
At Beville Middle School, students said there had been talk about a male teacher and his inappropriate behavior.
“I heard a teacher who be like who be looking at girls where they not supposed to be looked at,” said DeDe Williams, a student.
