May 27, 2011 - 01:29 pm
Three Leesburg residents were arrested Friday and charged in connection with a scam in which they promised to supply people with fake immigration documents.
Leesburg Police charged Tomasa Solis, 51, Yesica Carolina Reyes-Moran, 21, and Julio Cesar Guzman, 24, all of the 0-100 block of Heritage Way NE in Leesburg, with obtaining money by false pretenses.
Authorities say that the three would target members of the Latino community, telling individuals that they could provide the fake documentation in exchange for cash.
Solis was ordered held on $2,500 bond while Guzman was held without bond. Reyes-Moran was released on a personal recognizance bond.
