Man arrested, charged with raping 12-year-old girl

A Park Hall, Md., man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly raping a 12-year-old girl.
The 12-year-old told emergency room staff at St. Mary’s Hospital that she had been sexually assaulted. Police investigated and determined Jamal Gwan Ball had had sex with the victim, police reported. The 22-year-old was arrested and charged with second degree rape and third degree sex offense.
He is in jail pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
