Michael Brown to run for second term

At-large D.C. Councilman Michael Brown announced that he’s running for a second term on the council.

"It's an honor to serve the residents of the District of Columbia,” he said in a statement. “I look forward to earning their continued support as I launch my reelection campaign and continue my service to residents in every ward across our great city."

Brown was first elected in 2008 to the council.
