Michael Guenther, Falls Church man charged with setting fires

Investigators have charged a Falls Church man with intentionally setting fires during a period of weeks.
Michael A. Guenther, 51, is charged with two counts of fire capable of spreading and one count of attempted burning of an occupied building.
Authorities say Guenther set an outside fire and another fire under a dwelling in a crawl space, in the 5800 block of Glen Forest Drive. The fires occurred between April 16, and May 1, 2011.
According to fire investigators there was no damage to property.
Guenther is being held at the Fairfax County Adults Detention Center without bond.
