New York Avenue crash leaves 2 injured

D.C. Fire and EMS reports a serious car accident in Northeast has left two people seriously injured.
Officials say two people had to be rescued after becoming trapped in the wreckage. Both were taken to a local hospital. The victims’ conditions are unknown.
The crash occurred near New York Avenue and Kendall Street.
No further details were immediately available.
