Person attacked with baseball bat
A person was attacked with a baseball bat in Adams Morgan early Monday morning. The assault occurred around 2 a.m. on May 9 in the 2300 block of 18th Street Northwest, police reported.
The victim was involved in a argument with two other men. The men then beat the victim with a baseball bat.The victim suffered severe head injuries and was taken to a local hospital where he remains, police said.
Both suspects fled in a green 2000 Honda Civic with a cracked windshield. One suspect is describes as a black male his 30s, 6'0" - 6'1" tall, with a large build but slim looking, dark complexion, and shoulder-length dreadlocks. The second suspect is described as a black male, 29-30 years of age, 5'0' -5'5" tall, with skinny build, and hair in loose corn rows. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with an unknown black spotted design on the front.
