Police shocked a man with a Taser Tuesday who was suspected of burglary in Dumphries.
Michael Jermaine Moore, 39, allegedly broke into a residence in the 3600 block of Dahlgren Place. Moore fled the residence after police arrived and ran to his residence, which is on the same block.
Police chased him to his residence and shocked him with the Taser. He was taken into custody and treated at a local hospital for neck pain. He gave a fake name to police at the time of his arrest.
Moore was charged with burglary, destruction of property, resisting arrest, providing false identification to police and two counts of forgery of a public document.
