Power restored to nearly 1300 in Potomac

UPDATE 11:06 a.m.: Power is back on at Churchill High School, according to a Twitter report.
UPDATE 10:55 a.m.: Pepco says power has been fully restored in the area. It's still unclear what caused the explosion or if one even occurred. But there was a report of a tree falling onto a power line causing a "click out," which may have caused a small explosion, officials say.
ORIGINAL: An explosion in Potomac has left nearly 1,300 Pepco customers without power, an official says.
The blast occurred shortly before 9 a.m. Tuesday. The location of the explosion is not available at this time.
Pepco officials say 1,280 customers are without power as a result.
Utility and fire crews are assisting.
