Power outage closes Federal Energy Regulatory Commission
May 31, 2011 - 11:11 pm
The headquarters of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission at 888 and 1100 First Street, NE will be closed on Wednesday.
Due to a power outage in the area, all systems are currently down, the FERC stated. The commission said only emergency personnel that had already been contacted would have to report to duty. All other personnel are on administrative leave.
Any filing with a due date of May 31, or June 1, 2011 will be considered timely on the next business that the commission is open.
