Prince George's to offer 50 new taxicab licenses

LARGO, Md. (AP) - Cabdrivers interested in doing business in Prince George's County are about to get an opportunity.
The county will hand out applications for 50 new taxicab driver's licenses starting Monday at the Business License Office in Largo. Ten stand-by applications will also be available in case any of the 50 applicants fail to take the required exam.
Completed applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis beginning May 31.
