Raheem DeVaughn helps a Maryland boy

Bjorn Brooks remembers when he was 5-years-old. He didn’t understand why he couldn’t see like everyone else.
He has a degenerative eye disease called Retinitis Pigmentosa. He just turned 13-years-old this week. He’s another year closer to losing his sight.
“That's what the doctors say. But that's the reason why we're raising money so I hopefully don't have to do that,” he said.
Bjorn is raising money to fight blindness. He’s packed the cafeteria at his school, Gwynn Park Middle School, with a major star: Grammy-nominated R&B singer Raheem DeVaughn.
“I am just happy he came out to support me,” Bjorn said.
The kids paid $10 to support a foundation fighting blindness.
"I am more worried for him after I leave,” DeVaughn said. “He's going to be like the man."
