May 14, 2011 - 12:58 pm
Prince George's County Police made a second arrest in the murder of a man at an Edmonston night club this past March on Friday, the department says.
Officials say that Malik Huff of Hyattsville was arrested and is being held without bond in Upper Marlboro in connection with the March 4 shooting.
Police allege that Huff, 24, and another Hyattsville man, Frederick Scott, also 24, were involved in an altercation with a man at the Surf Club in the 4700 block of Kenilworth Avenue. The victim, 30-year-old Phillip Watson of Washington, D.C., was shot multiple times and died at a local hospital.
Scott was arrested in Las Vegas on May 5 on an outstanding warrant in Las Vegas. He is awaiting extradition back to Prince George's County.
