Two pedestrians hit by car in Vienna church parking lot

Two people were hit by a car in the parking lot of Vienna Presbyterian Church Sunday morning, police report.

Two people were hit by a car in the parking lot of Sunday morning, police report.

Shortly before 11 a.m., a man was backing out of a parking spot when he lost control, Vienna Police Spokesperson Officer Bill Murray says.

His car struck another car, pushing that car into two additional cars. One of those additional cars struck a couple walking through the parking lot.

Both were taken to an area hospital as a precaution with minor injuries. None of the drivers or passengers were injured, Murray says.
