Three officers injured in police-car crash

Three officers were taken to area hospitals after a crash involving two police cars at the intersection of 11th and Euclid Streets Northwest. One was seriously injured and two had minor injuries, according to authorities.
The crash happened around 8:44 p.m. and involved Metropolitan Police officers. An MPD spokesperson says several officers are injured and being evaluated by emergency medical personnel.
ABC7's Stephen Tschida reports a cruiser came to a stop in a front yard. No word what caused the crash.
