Unknown man shot, killed in Northeast
A man was shot and killed in the 5100 block of Jay Street Northeast on Friday afternoon, according to D.C. police, who are looking for the public’s help in identifying the victim.
The shooting happened around 4:15 p.m. When police arrived at the scene, they found a man with gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police described the victim as a black male, 16-20 years old, 5'11" - 6' tall, weighing approximately165 pounds, medium complexion with multiple tattoos. The tattoos are displayed on both arms and neck, and include “RIP Pluck” tattooed on the right forearm, "Wease" tattooed on the left forearm and "Lifes a Gamble" and "KAT "with a halo above.
