Video shows strong-arm robbery

Newly released surveillance video of a strong-arm robbery in Loudoun County shows the suspect’s vehicle and the crime taking place.
The robbery took place at about 1 a.m. on April 25 on Jefferson Pike near the Virginia-West Virginia line.
The victim, a 39-year-old D.C. woman, was walking in a parking lot of a Tri-State Exxon when a vehicle approaches. The occupants then steal her purse and the victim is knocked to the ground.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Investigator M. McCaffrey at 703-777-0475. Those callers wishing to remain anonymous are asked to call Loudoun Crime Solvers at 703-777-1919. If the information leads to an arrest and indictment, the caller could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.
