Frederick County Police believe that the suspect and victim in a shooting early Friday morning probably knew each other.
Police say a 43-year-old man was shot multiple times in the 100 block of West South Street, between Bentz Street and Ice Street. The victim was taken to Baltimore Shock Trauma and is in stable condition.
West South Street was shut down for several hours while police conducted an investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
