Warrant issued for Dwan Allen Brooks

Authorities are searching for a man wanted for alleged sex crimes against a minor.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for Dwan Allen Brooks on charges of second degree rape, sexual abuse of a minor and other sex-related offenses.
Brooks allegedly committed the offenses during an eight-month period beginning in Spring 2010 in the Brooks Farm area of Silver Spring. Brooks knew the victim’s family.
Brooks has been known to work as a street vendor.
