Police investigate woman's death

UPDATE 10:34 a.m.: Police say this is a death investigation.

ORIGINAL: A woman was found unconscious in the 1400 block of W Street Northwest early Friday morning.

Police are unsure how she became unconscious, but say she was badly injured.

No further details were immediately available.
