LAUREL, Md. (AP) - The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission says its headquarters in Laurel has been closed following a fire.
Officials say the building on Sweitzer Lane will be closed to customers on Monday, and only emergency and essential employees should report to work.
The company says the fire has not affected water and sewer operations.
Officials say an electrical transformer fire caused a power outage at the building on Sunday.
