Rockville motorcycle crash kills one

Montgomery County police are on the scene of a fatal collision involving a motorcycle in Rockville.
Police say that a motorcycle and car collided at the intersection of West Montgomery Avenue and Hurley Avenue at about 10:40 a.m.
An investigation shows that the motorcycle driver was eastbound on West Montgomery Avenue near Hurley Avenue when the motorcyclist became separated with his bike and hit a Nissan being driven by a 73-year-old man who stayed at the scene after the crash.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. He was later identified as Mohit K. Lal Bhatnagar, 48, of Potomac.
